Udemy, a San Francisco, CA-based free website that enables users to create an online course, has raised $1m in seed financing.
According to reports, investors include business angels such as Russ Fradin, Rick Thompson, Benjamin Ling, Keith Rabois, Larry Braitman, Naval Ravikant, Paul Martino, Josh Stylman and the 500 Startups Fund.
Founded by Gagan Biyani, President, Eren Bali, CEO, and Oktay Caglar, CTO, Udemy allows people to easily create online courses and upload presentations, videos, host live classroom sessions and write articles.
