Rocket Fuel Inc., a Silicon Valley-based company that empowers online display campaigns with a network combining behavioral, contextual, geographic and demographic techniques, completed a $10m Series B round of venture capital.
The investment was led by Nokia Growth Partners, with participation from Northgate Capital, Mohr Davidow Ventures and Labrador Ventures.
This brings the total amount rasied by the company to date to $20m.
Rocket Fuel will use the new capital to expand its market presence of its technology that aims to help marketers reach their brand goals anywhere.
In conjunction with the funding, Marc Theeuwes, partner at Nokia Growth Partners and a consulting Professor at Stanford University, will join the company’s board of directors.
The company, which was founded by veterans from NASA, Yahoo! and DoubleClick, operates sales offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago and New York.
