Prelert, a Needham, MA-based IT incident management software company that aims to enable large enterprises and service providers to eliminate long duration service disruptions of mission critical applications, has raised $3.75m in Series A funding.
Investors include Fairhaven Capital Partners and Sierra Ventures.Prelert will use the funds to expand sales of its flagship product, Incident Cause Analysis software, that help automatically find the causal chain of events behind business affecting IT service incidents.According to the company, this solution reduces MTTR (mean time to repair) in complex infrastructures by 90%.
The company also operates a European office in London, UK.
