Morega Systems, a Mississauga (Ontario), Canada-based company that is developing advanced media mobility solutions for the digital home, has completed US$10m Class “B” financing round.
The financing was co-led by Celtic House Venture Partners and GrowthWorks, with participation from new strategic investor and the C$250m Ontario Emerging Technologies Fund (OETF).
Utilizing advanced transcoding, transcrypting, and QoS aware streaming capabilities, Morega provides a complete solution for premium service operators and hardware vendors with high value added video applications such as side-loading, place-shifting, and targeted ad insertion.
