Mantis Deposition Ltd., a Thame, UK-based designer and maker of deposition instrumentation for novel materials research and development, has received a £3m investment from NVM Private Equity.
The proceeds from the investment, for which Beanstalk Management served as placement agent, will allow the company to commercialize their capability further and fulfil their potential, with particular attention to the nanoparticle deposition technology, which will enable many innovative applications.
Founded in 2003, Mantis Deposition also engages in the contract coating of conventional thin films and the development of nanoparticle coatings for industrial applications such as high efficiency photovoltaic cells, nanocoating‐enabled medical devices and fuel cells.
