eegoes Secures $500,000 in First Funding

eegoes, a Boston, MA-based new social network, has secured a $500,000 funding.
Investors include Swiss company Mac Invest SA and Mr Ramzi Chamat.
This first funding will enable the company to complete the first stages of the social network build and to fund development of its mobile smartphone functionality.
Founded by Guillaume Molter and Al Zane, eegoes enables its community members to exchange information in a micro-blogging environment, with discussions themed around their areas of interest.
The social network is currently in private invitation-only beta but those interested in joining can visit the web site to request an invitation.
The company also operates a European office in Conthey, Switzerland.
