Beyond the Rack, a Montreal, CA-based members-only shopping club, has raised $12m in funding from Highland Capital Partners, LLC and BDC Venture Capital, Inc.
The new capital will be used to expand operations in both Canada and the United States.
Beyond the Rack offers men’s and women’s apparel and accessories, children’s clothing and toys, beauty, housewares, and home décor, through up to eight branded sale events per day.
This latest funding follows a previous $4.5m investment from venture fund Montreal Start Up, European Internet entrepreneurs Oleg Tscheltzoff and Oliver Jung, and entrepreneur and angel investor David Chamandy.
Beyond the Rack operates offices in Montreal and New York, with a current staff of 120 employees.
