Transpera, a San Francisco, CA-based mobile video ad network, completed its $9m third financing round.
The round was led by BlackBerry Partners Fund, with participation from existing investors Flybridge Capital Partners, First Round Capital, Intel Capital and Labrador Ventures.
Transpera will use the funds to continue the development of its video ad-serving technology and increase its sales and publisher acquisition team.
In conjunction with the financing round, Matt Golden, Partner at BlackBerry Partners Fund, will join the company’s board of directors.
Transpera has also launched The Attention Network, which intends to deliver mobile video advertising experiences through interactive video ads and a wide range of engaging placement options, including pre-roll video appearing before content or video interstitial for any mobile application.
