Sencha Raises $14M

Sencha, a Palo Alto, CA-based developer of an HTML5 mobile app framework, has raised $14m in venture capital funding.
The round was led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Radar Partners.
In conjunction with the investment, Stratton Sclavos, the former long-time CEO of VeriSign, has joined the company’s board of directors.
Sencha will use the funds to expand its product development efforts.
