Playdom, a Mountain View, Ca-based social gaming company, raised an additional $33m in venture capital financing.
Investors include Bessemer Venture Partners, Steamboat Ventures, and New World Ventures.
This investment adds to the previous round announced by the company in November 2009 and brings the total raised to date to $76m.
Playdom’s titles including Social City, Sorority Life, Mobsters, Tiki Resort, Treetopia and newly released Verdonia have been installed on Facebook, MySpace, iPhone and Hi5.
The company operates studios in San Francisco and Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA, Eugene, OR, Boulder, CO, Chapel Hill, NC, Buenos Aires, Argentina and in South Asia.
