Opex Group, a UK-based supplier of services to the event management industry, has received a £2m investment from Octopus Ventures.
The capital, which was provided by the £30m Octopus Capital for Enterprise Fund (OCfE), will be used to finance growth in the company’s core business, to fund new software development and to support new strategic partnerships.
Established in 2000 by Guy Morgan, Opex supports its clients in the delivery of product launches, exhibitions, seminars, conferences and entertainment events both in the UK and across mainland Europe.
The Group currently comprises a number of divisions, including Stanco Exhibitions, Excel Invision and Expo Systems.
