Nomos Srl, a Lecco, Italy-based company that develops a passive refrigeration system for the preservation and transport of perishable products, has received a €1.5m investment from Next, a venture capital fund managed by Finlombarda Gestioni SGR.
The company’s Passive Refrigeration – PRS™- technology provides a solution to preserve and transport perishable products such as fruit and vegetables, beef, lamb, pork and poultry meats, dairy products, fish, and flowers.
The system is applied to all equipment of the fresh and cold chain including Thermobox, Thermopallet, trucks and delivery vans, intermodal swap bodies, marine containers and cold stores.
