Ace Metrix, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of real-time television advertising analytics, has received a strategic investment of undisclosed amount from WPP Digital (NASDAQ: WPPGY).
WPP joins existing investors Leapfrog Ventures, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and Palomar Ventures.
As part of the investment, Mary Ann Packo, CEO of Millward Brown North America, a WPP company, will join the Ace Metrix’ board of directors.
In addition, the two companies have signed a collaboration agreement. Under the terms of this new partnership, Ace Metrix will work with WPP companies to promote its products to clients and to develop new television advertising measurement solutions.
The company’s syndicated Software as a Service (SaaS), first launched in June 2009, provides standardized metrics enabling advertisers to benchmark ads within their own brands and against the competition.
Ace Metrix works with large national advertisers including Big Lots, Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corp., Microsoft, Nintendo, Nissan North America and others.
