Teamer, a web-based Irish Sports Team Management company, has recently received a €500,000 investment led by the Bank of Ireland Seed and Early Stage Equity Fund, which committed €350,000.
The remainder was sourced by the company through other investors.
Launched in September 2008, Teamer has been growing rapidly in both the Irish and UK markets.
The new capital will enable the company, which has more than 250,000 members, to accelerate its user acquisition in international markets.
Teamer is targeting growth of more than 1.5m members by 2011.
