Zinwave Ltd, a Cambridge, UK-based developer of a Wideband Distributed Antenna System that provides continuous radio coverage inside buildings for multiple simultaneous services with the same infrastructure and components, has received an undisclosed sum in venture capital financing.
Participants in the round include Catapult Venture Managers, Scottish Equity Partners, Atlas Venture and SEB Venture Capital.
In conjunction with the funding, telecommunications expert, Geoff Finch, from Catapult joined the company’s board as a Non Executive Director.
As stated by Jonathan Earl, Investment Director with Catapult, the capital infusion will enable the company to increase manufacturing output to meet the increased demand and potential of the US and Asian markets, as well as looking to gain a foothold in the Middle East.
