Videoplaza Raises $5M

Videoplaza AB, a developer of an ad serving technology for managing and monetising online video, completed a US$5m (approximately €3.5m) round of investment led by venture capital firms Creandum and Northzone.

The capital will enable the company to continue to accelerate the deployment of its Monetizer ad server platform technology for managing, displaying and tracking advertising in and around publishers’ online video content across Europe.
Videoplaza will leverage the investment to address new territories including Germany, Spain and Italy.
Founded in 2007, the company currently operates offices in Stockholm, London and Paris and clients across seven different European markets.
Customers include media companies such as TV4 Group (SE), Ekstrabladet (DK), La Vanguardia (ES), myvideorights.com (UK) and Incisive Media (UK).
