Tayside Flow Technologies Raises £500,000

Tayside Flow Technologies (TFT), a Dundee, Scotland, UK-based life science company, has raised over £500,000 in funding
The round was led by existing investor Braveheart (AIM: BRH), the technology commercialisation and investment management company, with participatin from Scottish Enterprise, Sir Tom Farmer and Quayle Munro Holdings plc.
Formed in 1998 as a spin out from Tayside University Hospitals NHS Trust, the company is involved in developing and commercialising novel cardiovascular devices based on its proprietary Spiral Laminar Flow technology, which is aimed at restoring the natural bloodflow pattern in healthy veins and arteries. 
TFT’s lead product is a peripheral vascular graft (PVG) that is used to bypass blocked arteries.
