Socialcast, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an enterprise collaboration and activity stream platform, has secured $8m in Series B funding.
Investors include Menlo Ventures and True Ventures.
The company plans to use the new capital to continue to develop its solution (which enables instant collaboration in a secure environment to unite people, processes, and data across the enterprise) infrastructure, and hire new professionals.
In conjunction with the funding, Sonja Hoel Perkins, Managing Director at Menlo Ventures, will join True Ventures Managing Partner Om Malik on Socialcast’s board of directors.
