Smartdate, a Paris-France-based dating site, has secured $2.2m in seed funding.
The round was led by Europe-based venture fund 360 Capital Partners. The company had previously secured $400,000 in funding from four international business angels.
The funds will be used to launch the Smartdate’s Facebook-connected online dating site.
Founded on Jan. 1, 2010, Smartdate is the first online dating site with full Facebook connectivity. It is already available in six languages: French, English, German, Italian, Dutch and Spanish.
