Applied Language Solutions, a Oldham, UK-based language service provider to businesses, has secured £1.4m from Maven Capital Partners.
The investment, made through the £75m government-backed Capital for Enterprise fund, allows Maven to take a 5% equity stake in the company.
The capital infusion will enable Applied Language Solutions to execute its growth plans and expand in South America, India and Australia as new markets.
Currently, the business employs over 100 staff across 11 offices in nine countries and provides language solutions to companies such as Google, Caterpillar, GE and the NHS.
