Aimetis Corp., a Waterloo, Canada-based provider of network video surveillance technologies designed primarily for the retail and transportation markets, has raised CDN$5m in equity financing.
The round was led by Covington Capital Corporation, which committed CDN$2.5m.
The capital infusion will enable the company, which has distributors and certified partners in 89 countries, to develop innovative network video solutions and accelerate market expansion.
