VuCast Media, Inc., a Palo Alto, CA-based provider of private wireless datacast services for new media device manufacturers, content providers and major brand organizations, completed its Series B funding round.
This round provides VuCast with $5.5m of committed funds, bringing its aggregate funding to over $9m since inception.
The round was led by Artiman Ventures, a leading Silicon Valley based investor focused on early stage technology companies.
VuCast will use the proceeds to fund the next stage of development of its worldwide network as well as to introduce solutions targeted for portable consumer devices.
