PrismTech, a Dunfermline, UK-based advenaced communications software developer, has secured £1.5m in financing from Maven Capital Partners, which manages the government-backed Capital for Enterprise (CfE) Fund.
The company, which provides solutions for international customers in Software Defined Radio (SDR), Telecommunications and Data Communications, Defense and Aerospace, Financial Services, SCADA and Utilities Systems, will use the funds to expand marketing and sales efforts globally.
Founded in 1992, the company currently employs about 90 people and plans to increase its workforce by about 10%.
PrismTech has US operations based in Boston, MA and European operations in the UK, Germany, The Netherlands and France.
