Intela, LLC, a Boulder-Colarado and London, UK-based email marketing firm, raised $7.25m (£4.5m).
Investors in the round of financing include private equity firm Bestport Ventures as well as ETV Capital.
The proceeds from the investment will be used for expansion in Europe.
Mark Blanford, founder of the online betting group Sportingbet, is to join the board of the company, whose clints include Citroën, T-Mobile and William Hill.
