Discera, Inc., a San Jose, CA- and Ann Arbor, MI-based timing and clock oscillator company, completed its $11m Series D financing.
Previous investors Scale Venture Partners, Horizon Ventures, and Ardesta, as well as new investor Lurie Investments, participated in the round.
In conjunction with the financing, Mr. William White, Executive Vice President of Lurie Investments, joins Discera’s Board of Directors.
Founded in 2001 as an extension of pioneering micro-electrical mechanical system (MEMS) development work at the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, the company is a recognized leader in oscillator technology, with 27 MEMS technology patents.
Discera’s products are used in a wide variety of electronic systems.
