According to reports, Q Chip Ltd, a Cardiff, Wales, UK-based biopharmaceutical drug delivery company, secured a £1m venture capital funding.
The round was led by Curzon Park Capital, a London-based investment firm focused on cleantech companies.
Other investors in the company include E-Synergy, Forum of The Future, Fusion Cardiff Ltd, and Finance Wales Investments Ltd.
Q Chip, incorporated in October 2003, has developed a proprietary, patented micro-fluidic technology that enables high value pharmaceutical and life science products to be packaged in uniform polymer microspheres.
The new funds will be used to continue the research related to its products.
