RepairPal Completes $4M Series A Financing

RepairPal, an Emeryville, CA-based provider of auto repair and maintenance information via web and iPhone, announced the completion of its $4m Series A financing.

The round was led by Tugboat Ventures, with participation from Rick Keister, former CEO of Keystone Automotive Industries and former President of Aftermarket at Delco Remy, David Strohm, Partner at Greylock Partners, board member at EMC and VMware, Mark Goines, former Intuit executive and board member at Mint.com, and Michael Torres, CEO of Adelante Capital Management.

In conjunction with the financing, Dave Whorton, Managing Partner at Tugboat, joined RepairPal's Board of Directors.

As stated by David Sturtz, CEO of RepairPal, through this investment the company can significantly advance its roadmap and ability to deliver value to customers, partners and visitors.
