France, Crédit Agricole Private Equity Acquires Stake in Cliniques Privées Associées (CPA)

Crédit Agricole Private Equity, alongside ING Parcom, BNP Paribas Développement and Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, is acquiring a stake in Brittany-based Cliniques Privées Associées (CPA), which specialises in the healthcare and environmental sectors.
CPA manages three treatment centres: the CHP Saint Grégoire in Rennes, the Clinique de la Côte d’Emeraude in Saint Malo and Clinique Pasteur-Lanroze in Brest.
The acquisition is being made via the Vivalto Santé holding company, which owns a 60% stake in CPA, with the rest being owned by independent practitioners.
The deal is part of a project to create, through acquisitions, a major player in France’s private hospital sector based on a new shared ownership model involving medical practitioners and institutional investors.
