USA, Glacier Bay Secures $10M in Funding

Glacier Bay announced a $10m investment led by the Westly Group, with participation from New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Quercus Trust.
The Union City, CA.-based company provides system-integrated power and thermal management technologies through its OSSA Powerlite energy platform. Glacier Bay currently offers a battery-operated no-idle HVAC system to the Class 8 truck market and is developing an advanced generator system which will initially be used in military applications.
Marc Hoffman, CEO of Glacier Bay, said that with this financing the company “secured the funding necessary to support our explosive growth and new product development”.
