San Diego-based AirHop Communications, a developer of systems software that enables the deployment of high performance and highly differentiated 4G wireless networks, closed a $1m financing.
The company also announced that Garrett Choi as chief operating officer, Jerry Hall as vice president of marketing and Anand Parikh as vice president of business development will join its board of directors.
In making the announcements, Yan Hui, founder and CEO of AirHop Communications, said: “We are pleased to have attracted not only this investment, but stellar additions to our management team.
“We are now poised to extend our lead in solving the challenges of deploying 4G networks with self-organized networking (SON), inter-cell coordination, real-time provisioning, and efficient frequency reuse”.
