Microvi Biotech, an environmental biotechnology company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes innovative technologies for unmet needs in clean water and energy, announced the completion of its first round of equity financing.
The specific terms of the financing were not disclosed.
In a statement, Union City-based Microvi said it plans to use the proceeds to expand product development, grow the company’s team, enhance the company R&D pipeline, and pave the way for the launch and commercialization of new, one-of-a-kind water technologies.
